-
All young adult support groups are completely peer-led and noncommittal (i.e. you can choose to come or go whenever you please).
-
There is no referral process and you do not have to be receiving any mental health services in order to attend groups.
-
A comfort agreement is shared at the start of each group to establish guidelines that will help all attendees feel safe and welcome.
-
This comfort agreement can be added to/modified as the group sees fit.
-
There is no set topic for each meeting.
-
Anything attendees would like to discuss is welcome.
-
You are free to contribute as much or as little as you'd like to conversations, but keep in mind to "share the air" with others who would like to participate.
-
If you have any concerns about how a group is being run, or any ideas on how to help the group run more efficiently, feel free to give your input.
